The provider/certified medical assistant should be able to communicate better with the phlebotomist on site. If it wasn't for the PSR I would've been turned away for my blood draw(s) that I had fasted for over 16 hours.

Patients need to be informed on vaccinations needed and given instructions if fasting is necessary for lab tests. Should also be encouraged to come in for follow-up checkups on a regular basis to address any chronic symptoms or new developments.

I have been a patient of Dr. Macri for 27 years and am not looking forward to the day when he tells me he is retiring.
