We were asked upon arrival if it was okay if a student was with this provider. I have no issues with this as everyone needs to learn. The student came in alone, without the provider. Student was kind and listened, did the exam just fine. When the provider came in she looked over patient very briefly and left. This appointment was to establish care with her and also be treated for an acute issue. I felt like she was in a rush and didn't take time to even talk with my child or get to know us, etc. Felt very impersonal.

Amy is amazing, and so is her nursing team. Everyone shows genuine concern, kindness, and knowledge. I appreciate that everyone was able to hear my concerns, give solid advice without being pushy about certain topics. Additionally, the appointments have ALWAYS been prompt, which I love as a busy mom. Nothing worse than being on time or early to an appointment, only for the appointment to be pushed to a later time, so I appreciate that Amy's team is on time, if not even a little earlier than the actual appointment. Thanks for taking great care of our kids!!!

We were unable to get in with my child's primary physician. Our pediatrician left about a year ago and we switched to a new PCP. I know a lot of families did and she is swamped. So I was unable to schedule with her because her schedule is "on hold". They couldn't even tell me when she would be available. What is the point of having a PCP if you can't see her? This has happened before when my dtr was ill. I am thankful for Amy Haug seeing my kids when their PCP is unavailable. But I have to tell you that your new scheduling scheme to make more money does NOT provide better patient care. If physicians are running behind and looking at their watch then they are not focused on their patient. And if they focus on the patient and go over on time then the next parent will be irate. You would be better off to cut administrative expenses, hire more physicians and NP's, and LISTEN to the people providing bedside care. That may not increase your bottom line enough for your shareholders, but the real stakeholders are the people coming in for service. Your staff is amazing. Treat them that way so they don't quit. We have had a number of physicians that our family sees either retiring or cutting back their hours. I can't help but think it's related to some of the corporate policies. If I as a parent have an appointment at 10 then I want to be seen at 10. Because I have taken off work and pulled my kid from daycare or school and my time is just as important as your staff. Thankfully I haven't had a wait time issue, but I have had scheduling issues. I should be able to schedule a well check with my PCP within a month of me calling. I should be able to get an appt with my PCP when my child is ill or there is NO continuity of care which is the entire point of having a PCP. Again, I love our PCP and I would happily see Amy again. My concerns are related to Aurora policies effecting patient care. Thank you.
