My visits with providers at Aurora are becoming more rushed. I had some serious concerns that I voiced to Dr. Karkera and one being a sinus infection and cough. I thought she might call in a prescription for me but there was nothing! I have a large egg size lump and bruise that is on my medial lower leg that is four weeks old and still seems to still hemorrhage due the discoloration of my ankle. The concern I had about that were not addressed and thought she might leave instructions on my dismissal papers but not even mentioned. I'm very disappointed with Aurora. I know there are hundreds more severely I'll people than me but I'm a four time diagnosed cancer patient and I still want someone to care. You're not the only clinic who has this "rush the patient through" attitude. I lost the BEST doctor for about 40+ years that retired that you fired but I followed him wherever he was. I still cry because I miss his care so much, especially when I was severely I'll with Covid for four months but didn't have pneumonia so no one would hospitalize me just to get me on my feet and stronger. As I said you are not the only hospital or clinic only cares about pushing the patient through and NOT the patient. When I first met Dr. Karkera she was so sweet, compassionate and listened and attended to some of my other concerns but I believe that the guidelines the corporate hospital has placed on doctors make it impossible for the doctor to attend wholeheartedly to patients anymore. I may take the time to find another cancer doctor who doesn't just hear me but truly listens!!
