Amanda was awesome. She too the time to listen. Explained two plans of action. We both agree on a more conservative POA. I was given very clear instructions on what to do if our POA did not bring relief in 3 days. I felt that I was heard and respected.

I have seen Amanda Shear twice. The first visit I had asked to be an annual physical. I guess because I had 2 questions, they billed it as a visit. So I paid $350 for her to recommend a physical therapy visit and write a prescription for Ozempic, that we both knew would not be covered under the insurance. Then at my Physical last week, we talked over all of my meds and looked at my record. Nothing was mentioned about any weight management, she didn't ask any specific questions to get me to talk more, and then she was just done. She listened to my heart and had me breathe, nurse took blood pressure, etc. and that was it. I have always had a breast, abdomen, leg exam, etc. at a physical. I didn't even think that we were done yet because she never did any of that. As I was driving home, I figured I must be in great physical health. Nothing was mentioned to improve or anything. No questions about exercise or diet. The one thing that I remembered to ask about was how stiff I am when getting up. I asked if there is a program with specific exercises, or something to keep my joints better. She said it's just arthritis and just move around. It seems that there could be more to it than that because I am moving around all of the time. She is very nice and friendly, but I walked out and felt like I didn't accomplish anything.
My appointment went very well. Amanda listened to my questions and answered them completely. She certainly seems to care about her patients.
Clearly an excellent medical provider that I will enjoy working with in the future. Highest rating possible.
