On a different point. It's nice that Advocate sends a message about a new appointment. But it doesn't say who it is with, what dr. When I left the hospital I had several dr. Appointments to make, and I was easily confused. The specialist and dept would be helpful.

I had a 1:30 appointment, and Alyssa didn't come into the room until 2:15. Alyssa did a great job, but 45 minutes is a long time to wait. I've noticed that all the doctors seem to be running late. I also attend my husband's appointments so we know. Thank you

Patient care starts with the medical assistant because they greet patients and first point of contact with obtaining vital care signs such as blood pressure and temperature. During BP, it's important for them to be trained how a patient should position their body correctly and elevate their arm to prevent false readings, and not rush the process. Bear in mind, most patients are NOT relaxed in a doctor's office because of the nature of the visit snd environment is cool because of medical equipments and trying to accommodate all patient comfort. This is crucial and impacts BP levels.
