I really liked the Dr. a lot. She was very nice and explained things well. I was very uncomfortable with the intern or whatever he was being there for my exam. I wasn't asked if it was ok if he was there or not. I held back a lot of my issues and questions because I was embarrassed to say it all in front of him. I purposely picked a woman Dr. because of that and I was mortified when I saw he was sitting there throughout the whole thing.
I appreciate the health care provided to me. The surgery improves my quality of life. Thank you.
Dr.Komar was friendly, listen to my needs, and provided top quality care. What I enjoy most was, she was compassionate and interested in taking care of me.

Seldom to almost never have I been as impressed on a first visit to a new physician than I was when I saw Dr. Alix Komar. Though I have never been impressed with the man who answers the phone, every other staff member I interacted with at my appointment I would rate outstanding. The physician, the RN, and the MA were all incredible in explaining ahead of time, without rushing, what would happen and what/how I should do things. Every question I had was answered promptly, politely, thoroughly, and with no rushing me so they could finish and get out of the room. I felt so cared for and cared about not just then but the entire next day also. I'll likely remember this experience for quite some time and remain extremely grateful for the manner in which I was treated. If only all medical offices and staff were this thorough, kind, and caring.
