I personally believe that AHC is becoming administratively top heavy while the patient-facing professional staff is being downgraded. For instance, it appears to me that a RN has been replaced by an LPN. In the past I was prepped for the procedure by a RN, this time it was an LPN being trained by the RN who previously prepped me. I don't believe that AHC's business model is sustainable. Frankly, if not for long-term relationships with providers, I would have already left AHC. This is based not only my personal experiences with rotating professional staff, but also the problems I had while my wife went through her final illness.
