It is not the provider, although he seems rushed all the time, I know he is concerned and genuine. Most nursing staff come across unconcerned and do not realize they can be heard talking about patients in the hallway. There is a medical assistant who is outstanding, professional with a great personality, but you do not always get her to handle your discharge/medication refills. When meds are missing at the pharmacy they do not receive responses and then I call and no one answers the back phones so I can report the mistake myself. A nurse finally called me back from this last visit to correct another mistake with meds with my pharmacy. I told her I was thankful but tired of the same things happening every time I come in and she was apologetic. It would be great if genuine staff could be hired for the medical profession but I do not know if anyone is really concerned about this anymore as I have also worked in the medical profession for many years and nothing has changed yet.
