I had to call the office because there was a problem with a prescription. I had waited at pharmacy for 2 hours because Dr. Lawals office was working on it. After 2 hours, I had to leave the pharmacy for a different appointment. I called Dr. Lawal to find out what was happening with the prescription. The front desk person who answered the phone was extremely rude. I would tell her something and then there was dead silence for 45-60 seconds. So I said "hello?" She said, "I was waiting for you to finish" after I stopped talking for awhile. Then I asked that Dr. Lawals nurse call me. The receptionist had the wrong number and I told her so. Again, she said nothing for 45-60 seconds. I said, "do you need the number?". She said again, "I was waiting for you to finish" again after a long pause. She said "I was waiting for you to finish" in a very condescending voice. I said that I needed the prescriptions today. The receptionist said that Dr. Lawal was seeing patients until 5:30. I said the pharmacy closes at 5:00 and said that was too late and please have nurse call me. I went to my other appointment and then went home. No one ever called to say that Dr. Lawal had fixed the prescription. So I couldn't get the meds until today and I was without my pain med last night. I admit, I was probably a little snarky. I told her I was very stressed because I needed the meds and I had waited so long at the pharmacy and still had no answer other than the doctor is working on it (per pharmacy). The receptionist said, Dr. Lawal will get to it after he is done seeing patients for the day, which was after 5:30 and was too late. I was really upset and felt like the receptionist didn't even give a note to the nurse. Every time I have called to talk to a nurse in the past, I have always gotten a return call, but not this time. I don't know why the nurse didn't call and that is very upsetting thinking your doctor's office is ignoring you!

Dr Lawal profetion is a very good. He is to the point and still listens to what I have to say as well. My last lower back shot went great. I've had a doctor yrs back and the way Dr Lawal administers the epidural is quite painless compared to other doctors in his profetion, I thank him very much and in his dept for that. Maybe there is hope for me after all.
